Jakob's 1st Birthday!

In July we took Austin on his first road trip to Boise for my nephew Jakob's first birthday party. We had so much fun watching the birthday boy and catching up with family we hadn't seen in a long time. The weather was great. Thanks for the party Knudsen's!

A Great Mommy Book

This is a book I read a few weeks after Austin was born. What a lifesaver! I was a new mom that didn't have a clue about babies and this book really taught me a lot. So for all my new and soon-to-be mom friends and family out there, check out this book!

Our Baby Boy!

Austin Harold Nagel was born on May 4, 2008 at 10:05pm weighing 8 lbs and 0 ozs. Labor began when my water broke in the Walmart parking lot! I made Brett drive home to put the groceries in the fridge (c'mon, we spent like $80!) and then we headed to the hospital. After 5 hours of complicated labor with fetal distress, Austin was delivered via cesarean section. He's healthy and beautiful so that's all that matters!
